A senior traffic engineer from Shropshire County Council has carried out a detailed assessment regarding a reduction of the speed limit on Bank Farm Road and the introduction of a 20 mph zone. As this would require extensive traffic calming along the full length of the road, it has been decided that the benefits gained are not sufficient, value for money cannot be achieved and, therefore, no further action is proposed. However, the Council are presently installing a puffin crossing and are investigating a number of safety measures on Bank Farm Road.
